How to remap keyboard keys?

In many cases,the default layout for a computer keyboard is not always the optimal one for a particular user, we may need to change the keyboard layout settings to better suit the needs of work or game.For example:the shortcuts of the software you work with may not fix your habit,but it dosen't provide the function to modify the shortcuts ;as well as for gamers,such as Warcraft3 ,the gamers may want to remap te keyboard :use the keys to replace the numeric keypad for quickly control.Or You may be used to the keyboard shortcuts on OS X, but you have to use a Windows PC at work,is there some ways that help you remap the keys on XP to get as close to Apple's as possible?

Of course you can remap the keyboard key via modifying the registry key,
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Keyboard Layout
but it is difficult for ordinary consumers,most PC users should not try to edit directly, also it need to reboot the system to take effect.

With KeyExtender, all these problems become easy, you can change any key on the keyboard into other keys: change F1 key to Enter key;change 1 key to A key.of course ,you can disable any key (such as windows key,caps lock key) on the keyboard as you want or assign a new function (such as reboot ,volume control) to a key or fix a broken laptop keyboard key with the remap function. 1.Download and installl KeyExtender, excute the KeyExtender icon on the desktop.
